Windcatcher spookiness

I recently bought this little windcatcher as a gift for my husband. It's not just a windcatcher , it is a little more sophisticated than that. The solar ball soaks up the sunshine during the day, and once dusk falls, it starts to perform a light display. It turns a variety of colours, red, blue, green, yellow, purple , orange, on and on and on . We have affectionately nicknamed it "the Orb" . The other night it hadn't come on, and my husband went out to have a look at it . I shouted from behind the backdoor "is anybody there" , and as if by magic............. it started glowing !
