Suomenlinna fortress

I was with a refreshing cup of coffee by the sea on Suomenlinna fortress island. Ferries go every twentieth minute from the Market Square and the crossing takes twenty minutes. The old buildings are still in everyday use as housing and visitors service facilities. 850 people are living there. There are some nice cafés and also nice swimming places on the cliff beach but the water is only 16 Celsius. A renovation was naturally also this summer going on.
You can guess that our heat wave continues. Today was the hotties day of the week.
