Abbots Bromley Horn Dance

The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance is world famous, taking place annually on Wakes Monday. The team consists of six Deer Men, a Bow Man, a Fool, a Hobby Horse and a man dressed as Maid Marion.

The horns (not red deer but reindeer) are stored and displayed in St. Nicholas Church in the village.

(I was undecided whether to blip this or a photo of my new great-niece fast asleep in her chair but as it was very hot and she was only wearing a nappy I'll keep that one for the family.)
