My little comedian
This wonderful young man makes me laugh out loud.
At his induction evening last night, he told the staff he spoke to that he had no worries about going to high school. He is ready for it, can't wait.
When I was asked about him, what could I say - he has a BIG personality, he will give and give, try his best and do it with good humour and a big smile.
What more would I want to say about him.
He is a little nervous - we think his SAT test results will be given out on Friday - they have arrived at school apparently, but not been given out yet. Whatever he has achieved will be fine by me - I know he did his best and that is the best measure I have for him.
If you're ever in need of cheering up, I recommend half an hour with him. He's the best medicine in the world.
And the best son!
Got home at 5, was asleep by 5.30. I slept till 9. I actually think my mind just said "enough" and I think a degree of it was because there are a mountain of jobs sat waiting for me and I am in denial.
Other news - received message from my Dad to say he has been in touch with an old friend, someone who was a bit of a legend to me, probably also my brother too, when we were kids. Fun guy, super smart, awesome to be around. Hopefully we will see him again in a couple of months - can't wait if that is the case.
