Sleepin In!!!

Big R and I arrived home to Seattle late last night...this morning I caught son Gander (Martin) sleeping in with Pooters the kitty curled up between his legs. Both were having a well deserved snooze. Martin watched over the 3 critters while we were gone to Pa. and took care of the home here. His reward... a sleep in!

I'll be back blipping soon...we had a short trip--two days spent in travel and three in family celebrations and meals and visiting --all good. Sadly tonight we received a phone call alerting us that R's sister --who we'd gone home to celebrate her 60th and retirement--had been just rushed to the hospital with a huge kidney infection and kidney stone . She is in critical care and they are putting a stent in her to drain the infection out. We await news now on pins and needles. Seems like life is like this...high and lows...joys and worries. We are so glad we all shared in her celebration over the weekend and now hoping she recovers and things go well fighting this infection. More later and will post back blips soon.
