Canopy

Today is an absolutely beautiful day

I stood under a canopy of leaves, light, and branches in my backyard.
The sun seems to be swirling down the trees.
It makes me smile.
I like Spring for the same reason I like Easter.
New beginnings; Hope.

Today I went to school and I realized that I had a paper due that I hadn't even began. Thankfully it was only one page and I got it done in about 15 minutes.

I got about 2 hours of sleep last night.
Apparently Excedrin extra strength has Caffeine in it. I ended up laying down in my bed around midnight, and watching the clock make its way to 6AM. Sometime around then I finally got to sleep - only to be awakened by my alarm at 8.

I am going to take a quick nap now before swimming and work.
