Back to pretty (but a few ugly little insects around here too)

But the rival photo has a little story. Sparkie is an indoor cat - rescued at the age of 6 so she isn't used to the great outdoors. She was curious and brave and wandered into the garden with me when I went out to pick some loganberries. I noticed she was bounding about with a bee..... When I was back in the kitchen she came rushing in with a yelp, on three legs.

She's been licking her paw and is feeling very sorry for herself. I'm watching to see how she goes on this afternoon and hoping that it won't mean a trip to the vet (she hates the car too)
