Walking back across the fields having taken a car to be MoT'd I found this pheasant.

I do not know how it died but we do have a goshawk, as well as sparrowhawks, buzzards and red kites, hunting across our fields (earlier in the walk I had found a magpie's wing).

So who knows?

A bit macabre I admit but I couldn't resist taking a photo.
