Langdale hills
Went on a cycle/walk/climb this afternoon. There were a few showers of rain on the cycle but when at the bottom of Langdale the sun came out. A short-ish walk up 'The Band' to the climbers' traverse led me to Bowfell Buttress, a local classic rock climb. A few minutes and metres later I got to the top with an excellent view of the Lake District hills.
On the way down I took a picture of this hill - Pike of Stickle which has an ancient stone axe factory somewhere high up near the top.
