Are we at the end of the world?

Thanks to the government we had a bit of a holiday feeling today as Tom & Alice's school was shut.

So it was swimming this morning followed by a spot of lunch and then a trip to the beach.

However on arriving at the beach the heavens opened so we ventured down the coast. Ended up at Tynemouth and as the rain stopped me and Tom decided to brave the walk along the north pier to the lighthouse.

Got back to the girls in the car just as the heavens opened again.

So there will probably be more days like this I should imagine as the clowns in charge of the country steer us on a collision course to discontent.
