Extreme Babysitting

I offered to look after my nephew CD while Killerqueen and SD were visiting SD'd dad in hospital.

Had planned a wee trail run up the forest and take in a couple of geocaches up there so off we set 5 dogs in tow the Blipster on his bike and Speedy and CD running with me.

Unfortunately the path I had followed in March was no where to be seen and a few trees had fallen over it so some cross country running was involved and some bog snorkeling (that was the dogs!) all of us had a least one foot soaked - eventually the main forest path was found.

Off to get the geochach and kids being kids took the direct route which involved more rough terrain and climbing over a deer fence - i took the longer route which involved a path and a gate.

All in all a great evening and a 4 mile run/scramble my legs are shredded and all 5 dogs are snoozing - I wonder what tomorrows activity might be . . .
