Unhinged

I think thats the best way of describing today...

This is the door swap... don't ask!

I went to the garden centre to order a few other parts for the mower and asked how easy/expensive it would be to get a replacement cutter deck. The chap asked if it was rusting through to which I answered that yes it was. The conversation went on for a bit and then he asked if it was definitely a steel deck and not an aluminium one... umm... the rust coloured rusty stuff gives a bit of a clue...

I then went to get some paint from B&Q... I was at the checkout when a guy runs up to the checkout and the exchange goes something like:

Man: Do you sell wheelbarrows?
Girl: in the garden centre?
Man: great, do you sell wheelbarrow wheels?
Girl: in the garden centre?

that was a strange moment... and yes the question marks were after her comments...

I got home and read the instructions on the can of rust defeating magical spraying stuff and it says to make sure the surface is clean and free from grease, dirt and rust... RUST?!? I had to turn it around again to make sure it was in fact designed to get rid of rust and, as it said, without the need to even sand the surface! I checked the can of paint and it had the exact same instructions on it... Got a feeling it might be a copy n paste error...

For several hours this evening our Internet connection was down. I tried restarting our hub but that didn't sort it... So I gave them an hour or so to see if it came back online again. It didn't. I gave them a call and it asked if I was calling from the line that was experiencing problems... I pressed 1 to say that was indeed the case. It then told me that there was a known major fault in my area and they were working on it. It then told me that if I couldn't make any calls from that line I was to press another number... Umm, I pressed 1 just a moment ago to say I was calling from the line with a fault.... It also said that for more information I could go to www.bt.... Gotta love BT

So there you have it... a rather unhinged kind of day!

Just written this on my iPad.... Autocorrect must have had a field day as I have just had to edit this entry soooo many times... So if there are any more errors then you'll just have to live with em :P
