Nailed to the Cross

Only I could do this! We're now half way through our run of the show Jesus Christ Superstar. It seems to be going down well, we've had great crowds and as always there's a great togetherness about the production.

In my role as a guard I am entrusted with nailing Jesus to the cross. Now, anyone that knows me will realise that I am not best suited to this responsibility as my (lack of) diy skills are beyond compare. Before the show I had visions of me missing the cross and enducing a real scream of pain from Matthew who is playing Jesus. Never did I think that it would be myself I would inflict pain on!!

But at least the dripping blood added to the realism of the scene! I'll be more careful tonight - I promise Mum!
