People Centered Computing: origins

It's fair to say the white board is more of a thinking support tool, than a sound record of what thinking actually took place. It's where fragments of idea fall out, move around and begin to resemble a coherent thought. (on the good days anyway)

This is the beginning of a new first semester course on people centred computing that will use processing (a data visualisation language) to introduce our students to graphics, Human Computer Interaction and Ethics.

This shall include debate, computational art, 2d games and Tailor Made: the crafting of a data gift for a loved one.

I can't wait to get into the detail.
