Water falls sun washes

Took the long walk down to the waterfalls this morning... Left too late and stopped off too many times along the way for "foresty" photos. Even though I was at the falls at about 9am the sun was very harsh and made any long exposure impossible and left washed out patches all over the place where it came through the trees.

Although a few have come out okay, I want better... I need to go back soon... and a lot earlier in the morning.
