The Lion sleep tonight...
and all of today it seems. On the way back from our holiday in Bridlington we decided to do a slight detour and call into the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster we had been to one very similar in the Lakes and we wanted to see if this one is as good. It has only been open since 2009 so is till very much in development. Nevertheless there was plenty to see. It is a place where the animals have plenty of room to roam about and there are areas where you can get up close and personal to some of the animals lile lemurs and wallabies. A long zoom lens was necessary so I used my canon 50d with my sigma 70-300 so that with the crop factor included I would have sufficent zoom. Again it has been very hot and sunny and typically any cat wild or domestic know the best place to be asleep.
Back to reality I need to finish off my pre-wedding editing and send the weblink off and then prepare for a pre-wedding visit to Manchester next Saturday. Going to have a fairly relaxed Sunday until I go and shoot the Youth Baptisms at Church. Will probably be editing most of this week trying to catch up on voluntary edits.
