Butterfly on Lantana

This LANTANA is a most beautiful flower and it attracts butterflies. I just sat down on my outside chair and snapped away. I think it was the sport mode that got the best pictures. check this out in LARGE... you can see the proboscis which is an elongated appendage from the head of a butterfly that sucks out the flower moisture.

Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine.
