Bridge Day

The title refers to the fact that this is a famous Seattle bridge, the Fremont. It refers to the fact that this weekend being the 4th of July, the span goes up and down at an amazing rate of repetition as the boats toot their horn and the rest of us wait their passage. I don't mind as anything that slows the pace of "I have to be someplace" is good in my book. But it is amazing that recreational people with the funds to have boats have such a sway over normal traffic flow.

And finally I have been waiting for a sunny day and one where I am at this spot at about 11:30 because the light is perfect then. Got it all today!
