Barley field

After a few days when I honestly didn't do anything interesting enough to blip I've decided to make sure I do SOMETHING every day. This barley field is just at the end of our street and we have been watching it ripen (is that the right word for barley?) over the last week or two. It's still got a tinge of green in it when you see it up close but from the distance the field has a lovely golden glow.
