On our way......

......a group of excited Scouts at Edinburgh Airport shortly before I was told off by the aircraft dispatcher for taking photos on the tarmac....apparently it's a No No.

The journey to camp was long, but incident free with every connection slotting into place as planned. The final leg on the train from Zurich to Kandersteg gave us a taste for what was in store when we finally dragged our cases off the train and stared in wonder at the jaggy mountains surrounding us on three sides....."awesome"

The late evening walk to the campsite gave the Scouts a chance to stretch their legs, and there was quite a lot of playing going on as hours of being cooked-up in planes and trains was shaken out of muscles.

A supper of hot chocolate and biccies and then to bed to gorge on sweety tuck bags and receive regular reminders from the leaders about the need to go to sleep.
