Red sky in the morning ...

It proved true today. After a stunning sunrise the sun gave way to a cold and blustery day with the rain making an appearance as well. Amazingly enough though, a friend of mine who does sailboat charters, got a call for a charter today from some folks who like to sail in high wind and rough conditions. I guess that gives rise to another proverb. (It's an ill wind ...)

My mother's birthday today. Unfortunately not with me so I can't blip her, but maybe on another occasion.
