Tentative miracle in Maine
Don't believe in miracles - depend on them.
Laurence J. Peter
A fragile, tentative peace, but for those following my journal, you will know how huge this is for us. These cats have not been free, or uncaged in the same room together since their horrible fight in January. Here, less then 24 hours after a slow but steady re-introduction, they are eating treats together. We are in our summer place, 6 plus hours from home, they rode side by side in their crates on the way up yesterday, and then we let them out together. I admit to being rather faint of heart through the initial meetings, T and G(my adult nephew) had to run it all. I'm better today, the Cat Wrangler once again with a thankful heart...so far, so good.
Machiasport, Maine, well it's always a place for healing and miracles.
