Now then, now then, now then... the national institution that is Sir Jimmy Savile at Scarborough railway station today, takes a break from filming a TV ad for the Golden age of the train, the Scarborough Spa Express steam train excursions. Anyone remember those 1980 InterCity 'age of the train' TV ads...?
I had a chat with him about the revived repeats of Top of the Pops now on BBC4 (which he thinks are great fun) and Sir Elton John, who I hptographed recently, and Sir Jimmy met and introduced "many, many times".
