Musical Interpretation

I've been teaching a workshop about Musical Interpretation in Canine Freestyle & Heelwork To Music today and it has been great fun. We have laughed so much and I think every one learned lots!

Todays photo is Sonja and her little mix breed Tyson, who are demonstrating their ideas for using a small bag as a prop in a Canine Freestyle routine. This was a challange they got - each handler got a bag and had to come up with as many ideas as possible for moves that involved that bag.

Some of the ideas we saw were: carrying the bag (like Tyson), pushing the bag across the ring with the nose, taking something out of the bag or putting something into the bag, hiding the head in the bag, sleeping with the head on the bag, putting the bag on the handler's back, opening the bag and many more...

Tomorrow is another day at the workshop - I am sure that will be just as great as the first one!
