Timid Amethyst

Both Breeze and Amethyst went to the roller disco birthday party of a friend earlier today. While Breeze, after several false starts and contrary to her problems with balance, wheeled around like a wannabe pro (not quite but she at least let go of my hands) the oldest child there, our Amethyst, used her fingernails to good effect while clinging to the wall.

You see she has a fear of falling... not that she is a wimp in any way, shape or form.

Unfortunately for me they had no skates in my size... (or should that be fortunate - it depends upon your point of view)
