Trees

As was commented on recently there is a lack of trees on the Island although in the last few years many people have been planting them in their gardens to see what can grow.

This lot are part of my effort and in this patch I'm even cropping them back. Willows, Whitebeam, Sycamore, Beech, Horse Chestnut, Birch and Rowan are all about somewhere. I've almost 60 trees in the garden but they only qualify as "proper" trees when they are taller than me so currently that stands at 23.

Shelter is the challenge and good shelter will allow almost anything to grow in the Islesbut finding the good shelter is the challenge.
