Ouch!

This is Jack's rather dramatic version of hayfever!! After a few minutes of watching dad cutting the grass he came in and said he had something in his eye, I sent him away with a cold compress on as all loving and attentive mothers do...twenty minutes later one side of his face was so swollen he couldn't open his eye.

Quick trip to the eye infirmary confirmed nothing in it, just a nasty allergic reaction. This is how it now looks, a couple of hours later, after a rather large dose of antihistamines and steroid and antibiotic eye drops! Such fun having children...
