Malden Fortnight - Willie Wonka float

Malden Fortnight is a sweet little suburban festival held every year in New Malden. On the middle Saturday, a parade with marching bands and school floats goes up and down the High Street causing traffic chaos but bringing a lot of fun and laughter to the town.

This float represents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (all the schools this year did childrens' books). and was the work of Corpus Christi primary school. It's shown here rounding the Fountain Roundabout at the half-way point in the parade.
