I just HAD to try it.
Having discovered the "joys" of Macro, courtesy of extension tubes on the "blunt end" of the Canon© 18-55mm lens, I just had to give it a whirl stuck to the Tamron© 70-300mm.
It will do macro all on its lonesome, at distances of twixt 3'. & 4.9'
(.95-1.5m).
Hereinafter referred to as the Shrek's lug-hole tree.
With the minimum extension it'll now pull that distance down to kinda 6"(ish) and produce this.
B.T.W. This appears here as the black, wizened, sticky-looking thing in the left side of the left hand pot.
Isn't nature wonderful?
