A great weekend

Back home after two days away at Bicester for the Royal Pioneer Corps Association Reunion Weekend.
Met some lovely people who Chris served with when he was in the Pioneers including these two reprobates....the cuddly Mark Holyoak and the lovely Roy Lathwood who is battling treatment from a brain tumour, he has lost the sight in his left eye as a result, but his resolve to beat the thing is hard as steel. He`s got a wicked sense of humour as befits a Northener (he`s a Manc but I won`t hold it against him).
I have never seen as much alcohol consumed as I did tonight, not even at the Rugby Referee Dinner earlier this year. Most of these guys had been on the drink since 2 pm and this was only 8.45....

am off to bed...been a long day and I`m knacked
