Well, can you?
Actually I'm in no position to hassle anyone as, prior to today, it had been about a year and a half since my last donation. I couldn't donate for a year after getting my tattoo and on the occasions since when it has occurred to me my timing has been rubbish.
Glad to say I finally made it today though and left with an incredible feeling of satisfaction.
As for last night's tea, as requested:
Chop 1 spanish onion and 2 cloves of garlic
Slice 1 reasonable sized potato into 5 mm slices
whisk 4 or 5 eggs with salt and pepper to taste and a little milk.
Part boil the potato slices for about 5 minutes to soften them up.
Meanwhile gently fry the onions and garlic in olive oil in a non stick frying pan. Add the softened potatoes and continue to fry for a couple of minutes.
Add the egg mixture and keep moving it gently away from the sides and into the middle until it is reasonably firm (not too firm or you'll end up with scrambled eggs there should be a bit of moisture left.
at this point, assuming the underside is cooked you can lift onto a plate if you like and put it back in with the runny side down to finish it off. I find it easier to stick the pan under a pre heated grill for a few minutes before trying to lift and turn it though.
Once it has been turned and the other side cooked serve with some salad.
