Neist

Simon seemed fine after his exertions yesterday, so he headed off climbing with Mick & Angela to Neist, while Mrs L and I went for an explore of the Portnalong area before meeting up at Neist.

We didn't see an awful lot on our explore birdwise, but as ever the scenery on Skye is just gorgeous. Today' s photo is of the Cuillin. Our family dog was a Westie from Skye named Cuillin, so even though my parents never took me there you can see why I've always had a fascination with this island and these mountains.

On to Neist and the climbers climbed and the birdwatchers watched birds and climbers. Mrs L pointed RCB at some Black Guillemots, so he was a happy bunny too.
