Nicole & Helge

R and me went to a friend's wedding yesterday. Their reception was at a nice hotel directly by the river. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that great as one might expect it to be for this time of year. Nonetheless the bride and groom didn't seem to mind much and enjoyed their big day. Only their photographer sighed a little as it made his job so much harder due to lack of contrast.

As I couldn't decide on one single photo I once again went with two blips for one. he first one shows the couple cutting out a heart out of a bed sheet. It's one of those typical rituals that you see at a German wedding. Bride and groom are given small and blunt scissors making the task a little more difficult. Once they're done, the groom is to carry the bride through the cut-out whole :)

The other shows all those red heart-shaped balloons that the bride and groom were to release. It was fun to watch the preparations. A sweet gesture initiated by the mom of the bride (seen holding the balloons).
