Sticky fingers

This is a mineral lick and it's hanging on the gate across the lane. This one is for the cows and it starts out as a cube and is then "licked into shape"; the depression on the top and sides is made by the cows' tongues. Obviously that's where the title for this blip comes from.

Pork roasting and the crackling is crisp, local new potatoes and sprouts ready to cook and maybe a glass of something white and chilled. Happy Sunday!
