Glee Live 2011

MOST AMAZING DAY EVER!!!!! It will be a long, long, long time before I ever have an experience that will top today. Went to the Glee Live concert with L. After getting stuck in a bit of traffic, we finally arrived about two hours before the show started. By the time we got there, most of the cast had already gone into the arena, but we still stood outside and fangirl-ed it for a bit. A car actually drove by carrying at least one of the cast members but the windows were too tinted to see who it was!

THE SHOW WAS PHENOMENAL. The whole cast is so beautiful and their voices are flawless. I still can't believe I was in the same room as them all, breathing the same air! :) Our seats were pretty far, but I snuck in my super zoom lens. I am absolutely in love with Cory Monteith and he did not disappoint with his awkward dance moves. Best surprise of the night, Lea Michele sang Don't Rain on My Parade, my absolute favorite song. She had stopped singing it early on in the tour, but brought it back recently, which a fantastic surprise. I almost peed in my pants, I was so excited! Her voice amazes me.

All in all it was a GREAT show. There were funny skits, intense choreography, and the whole cast was there with great energy. It was all just so BEAUTIFUL. The picture above is from when they were singing Loser Like Me.

Making the best day ever even better, we went to Flushing, NY after the concert and found out Coco (the best bubble tea shop in the world) just opened up a location there, so we ended the night with a cup of delicious bubble tea!
