Small steps & large leaps

May not seem like much to most folk but today was the first time, since injuring her back almost a year ago, that J9 has got up in the morning and suggested taking the dog to the woods.

As she strolled ahead in the beautiful sunlight it really did gladden my heart. There has been 11 months of x rays, spinal rehabilitation and heavy duty painkillers. She is now off the painkillers and still has bad days but they are outnumbered by the good/bearable days.

So this small moment is a big one for me :-)
