Ponies in the Paddock
Lovely day again today, not too sunny but very warm. Spoilt for choice with possible blip photos - birds, flowers - some thatched cottages (spoils it a bit with cars parked outside though!).
Got another photo of our scruffy blackbird - he's beginning to look a bit less bedraggled though which is good. Also saw the Song Thrush - he's been missing from the garden for a few days so it was good to see him back.
Sadly, I also found this in the garden, underneath the nest right up under the eaves. The sparrows aren't doing very well with this nest, I've already found a poor little dead baby in the same place.
On a more cheerful note, we walked up to the farm shop, and saw these ponies in the shade of the trees. We've seen them quite a few times and they always seem to stick closely together. In the winter, the little brown one looked like a bear with his winter coat. It was a lovely afternoon walk, very quiet and peaceful. Last one for a little while, as it's back to the mayhem of work tomorrow after my lazy week off. I'm not looking forward to the alarm going off!
