2011 Challenge : Lighting Experimentation

Mum and Dad gave me a bunch of beautiful roses yesterday before I came back home. This evening, I set this single bud in a vase with a black backdrop. The low sun was streaming in the window. I also used a gold reflector to add some warmth and glow to the shot. No flash used.

This one is for my family in Manchester, as today they have been together to remember my Aunt who died back in April.
