Good Music and a BBQ

Today was the second day of the Armed Forces Weekend event on Southsea Common. So we went down for a look, but not before grabbing a few bargains at the nearby car boot sale. Both kids were tired, so Emma took Oliver off to Asda in the car while I took Megan off in the pram. I couldn't help but spot these guys relaxing after their performance. When I heard them rehearsing earlier, I'm sure I even heard Oliver humming along to the sounds of Scotland the Brave - music to my own heart.

After the trip to Asda, it was back home to set up our new paddling pool and flash up the bbq. Even Emma managed to have a wee dunk in the pool. Thinking that she would only dip her feet in, she foolishly kept her clothes on - not a good idea with two boys in the pool already!

A lovely way to spend a warm Sunday!!
