Ditchling Beacon

Up to Brighton again for phase 2 of bringing R and J back from Uni, and for phase 1 of installing J in his shared house for year 2.

Had a bit of free time in the morning before J and his housemates could get into the house, so we went up to Ditchling Beacon, where we could look back over the Downs to where Sussex University is. From here the campus is completely hidden, however in the middle distance you can see the top of the large new sports stadium projecting over the trees. Its shape, which is a bit like the Beijing 'bird's nest' echoes the rolling slopes of the chalk downland.
