Fish

Alasdair took us out fishing in the boat today, it was glorious sunshine yet again. I'm not so good in the wee boats but it was worth it to see noah's face as Al helped him land his first of two fish. Carlos was the star of the day who caught 7! All in there were 7 mackerel and 2 pollock (one freya named Jackson). When we got back the kids swam in the river to get across to the big beach then we fired up the BBQ later and Alasdair smoked the mackerel. They were so delicious even Carlos tried them and loved it! the sun stayed out all evening, it was only the pesky midges that defeated us. Freya and I had a nice walk on the shore and now we're all just chilling out as the sun goes down.
