Desolate

Took a rather extended walk with Deacon down to Newhaven earlier, to enjoy the sunshine. Beautiful evening, with the sun gleaming off the forth.

The derelict (other) lighthouse (I think actually it is a beacon built in the 1950's) was looking in a very sorry state, covered in graffiti and empty. All the windows have been blown out, and you wonder when the demolition order on it will be executed. Now part of the part of the 'Edinburgh Promenade' plan. Certainly telling of the past and the change in this part of town.
