Experiment day

Today I had to get around to doing an experiment for my course. It's a funny experiment to do with visual perception. It's called the Pulfrich effect. It's a little odd, observing a pendulum swinging with one eye covered with a darkened filter.
The pendulum when viewed seems to swing in an ellipse rather than just side to side. Anyway - a can of baked beans makes up a pendulum, and lots of rulers for measurement. Results were duly recorded. The dog didn't really help much.
