80 Years Young.

The young lady in the picture reaches a milestone today she thought she never would. My mum is 80.

But I haven't seen or heard from her today because she is away on a cruise to the Land of the Midnight Sun. The postcard arrived yesterday. She was obviously in Bergen last week. Nice, but could have been a problem. She was meant to be in Bergen today. Had I have earnt more money in the first half of the year we were going to fly to Bergen to meet her on her birthday as a surprise. It would have been if we had because we'd have been stood on an empty dockside wondering how to get to wherever the boat was!

Anyway, Mum, wherever you are, hope you're having a great birthday.
