Shrewsbury

An uneventful drive down to Shropshire today. It's lovely and green, with pretty villages, and towns with old black and white houses dotted about in them. Spring is very much further advanced than at home, and there is blossom everywhere and quite mild.

Shrewsbury is a beautiful town but very hilly. So much to see, Dad managed manfully to get down to the river, but there were interesting views everywhere you looked. Little alleyways and courtyards and ancient buildings, excellent place to explore.
