Perfect end to a perfect day
Tonight, photography was like shooting fish in a barrel. It was almost too easy to get decent shots. I took 4 long exposure shots tonight, 2 here at the back of Ocean Terminal and 2 at Newhaven and any of them could have been tonights blip. The difference to other nights was near on perfect light from the sunset. This shot has just the 10 stopper and a 0.9 soft grad, no fancy coloured filters used and hardly required any post processing. Wish more photo trip were like this.
Really liking this shot, much better than the last one I got here. Thing with this shot though is it never looks straight. I think its the horizon of the docks which isn't representative of the actual horizon. Shot was perfectly straight on the tripod spirit level and checking in Photoshop the pier is level too yet it still looks off!
