Very Berry

At last the strawberries are ready and E took great pleasure in picking them to eat at as we watched the mens final at Wimbledon today.

This smile was shortly replaced with tears when he fell off his bike and managed to get his right leg tangled up with his gear change resulting in a trip to the hospital to have the holes cleaned and steri stripped (as stitches would not have held said the nurse!) His calf resembled the left over pastry when you've cut out scones with a cutter!
Note: Mother who has a fairly strong constitutuion nearly lost it at this point as the nurse pieced skin to skin.
What is it with holidays and my crew???? This is like Deja vu of last summer!
He has been very brave all day and did enjoy his strawberries with lashings of ice cream! Full of calpol now and asleep we will see what tomorrow brings!
