Finally made it along to one of the evenings of the Scottish Country Dance Society of Berlin tonight.

It was exactly what we'd expected - in a gymnasium, with a cd-player, and a crowd of over 50s very keen on their rules...they were very friendly though, as Mark pointed out, they probably smelled the fresh blood and pushed us to come back.

I wish I could say it was a real laugh, but it wasn't. Wasn't bad either. Just wasn't a ceilidh at the Assembly Rooms. But I guess you can only have that when you are in Edinburgh.

Doesn't matter where you are though - my husband can pull the kilt-look off anywhere.
