Madam Butterfly in the Duthie Park

There's a live telecast of Madam Butterfly in the Duthie park tonight ... at dinner time they were doing some final checks ... huge screen on the big lorry in the centre and speakers suspended from an array of cranes. Don't know about the opera but the hardware assembled looks very impressive :)

The McGrigor Obelisk in the background is one of Aberdeen's many "moving monuments" having been moved here from its original location in the Marischal College Courtyard in 1905.
