Whites...

Cleared the house and my head today. After weeks of exams (either doing them or supervising them), meetings, deliberations, reports it was needed. I had occupied large sections of 3 tables in our house. Afterwards I read in my book about Mumbai for a couple of hours and had lots of tea.

Then played with with white backgrounds, white flowers, natural light and a mirror - with the above as a result. Can you tell my house is empty, now my girls are away on camp?

We used to have a 'game' at primary school where we had to tell what white meant to us. For a lot of the kids it was hospital, ill, cold, snow and even death. I have heard my girls talk about this too.

For me however, my first thoughts with the colour white were always summer, sun, tranquillity and light. I guess that is what I tried to capture here...
